We all had a great time today. We roamed RC Willey in the morning, just looking at a few things, not buying. Then we headed up to Pineview Reservoir for a couple hours. The kids had a blast playing in the water. We can't wait to go back!
Dane thought the water was great. The only reason he went back to sitting on the blanket was that my back was hurting too much to keep bending over holding him!
Joelle got braver the longer we were there, eventually putting her head in the water!
Liam loved the whole thing! He had a blast splashing in the water!
Max was not interested in the water at all! We got him near it a bit, but he would use his normal excuse for not doing anything..."I'm sleepy" to get out of going in the water. He got so desperate when we got him closer to the water that he claimed, "I have to go potty." This from the kid who refuses to use the toilet. He did really enjoy sticking his toes in the dry sand.
I just thought this photo was too sweet! I hope you all enjoyed your day. Jared is off to work, so it is just me and the kids for the night. We are going to opt for some simple frozen dinners tonight...I will be more adventurous in the kitchen tomorrow!
