Sharing some scrapping!

It has been atleast 2 weeks since I did a scrapbook page. I have done a few other projects but not a layout. I thought I would share my page with you all.

These photos were some of the few we took during Lucas' 12 hours in the NICU.

Journaling: After my water broke you began having heart decelerations and they found meconium in the fluid. When you were born the cord was wrapped around your neck. I was so worried about you. Having been born at 34 weeks, after a short time in my arms and being weighed and measured, you were taken to the NICU. I thought that you would end up staying in the NICU for at least a week, and even when you did go home that we would be dealing with many issues due to your premature birth. But you were so strong! You spend 12 hours in the NICU, just being monitored. You were a little champ, and got to go back with me to my room. I was so happy! We did deal with some small issues, and you stayed in the hospital one day longer than I did, but when compared to what I feared……I know that we were blessed.

Products:

Cardstock: SEI

papers: I only know the maker of the plaid, and that is Making Memories, the others were not labeled

embellishments: Bazzil (scalloped edge), Clearsnap(ink), American Crafts (Thickers)

Tools: Provo Craft (Coluzzle Circle Template)

Hey Christine! Cute blog, it's so fun to share our lives like this isn't it?! I too, am on the exercise bandwagon and have been really successful this year with a 25lb weight loss. I'm still working hard though. Also, I LOVE scrapbooking and your page is SO cute. I haven't scrapbooked much since being pregnant, but since Katie is now almost 10 months old, I really don't have an excuse.
